V.O.I.C.E Over Violence Specialist Certification Program

Course Summary

This staff training program is designed to equip teachers and school staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize signs of violence, trauma, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), respond effectively to these challenges, and create a safe and inclusive classroom environment. The program also focuses on reducing incidents of violence, bullying, harassment, and negative behaviors within the school district while fostering the social and emotional development of students. Key components include prevention, skill-building workshops, restorative justice, parental involvement, individualized intervention plans, parenting workshops, graduated reintegration, mediation and conflict resolution, an education component, and ongoing progress monitoring.
